It is important you understand both the problem and the options available for your pet. All surgery is associated with risk. We do everything to minimise complications but they can happen. On the VetFix website there is a header “Pet Owners” with further information. In addition the section titled “Care Sheets” has more information still. Please also speak with your primary veterinarian at your local practice. If necessary they can arrange for an appointment for you with VetFix to discuss the procedure further or even a telephone conversation to help explain certain aspects. Don’t be afraid to ask!
